My dad wants to convert his vhs collection from when we were kids onto dvd. I know he can use windows dvd maker to edit it etc, but wat about getting it onto the pc?
He is going to buy one of these usb converters but they still need software.

It's on windows xp, so what do you recommend?

I'm pretty sure there is a shop in widnes that would do this for you if costs become a little silly.
