Good friend of mine has put a fag burn in her passenger seat of her ford fiesta, as im bored at work i decided to help her out

its a 2012 ford fiesta zetec diesel and shes trying to sell the car,i first suggested just sell it as is and take the hit, said the burn is massive and wants it sorted, quickest and cheapest option- 2nd hand one from a scrappy and i'll swap it over for her

only prob is she is clueless with cars and doesnt know the trim level or if it has sideairbags, all that she knows its cloth, not electric and not heated

trying to look at scrap yards and ebay but only have a reg to go on for the spec

any ideas?
cheers

oh and would this put up a fault code when i swapped it over? or a case of disconnect the battery before unpluggin it and jobs a good-un'?

You should be able to get a bit of info from http://www.glass.co.uk - if you need more then you can pay them a few quid for a more detailed report.

Cover would be best as Tom said. Could throw an airbag light on if you take seat out.

My dad found that exact seat down a country lane a while ago. Looked brand new.

Sold it on ebay for 40 quid. We were going to put it in our old fiesta which had chewing gum on the seat, but we just part ex'd it instead.
