Ok, desperate to get using the pressure washer i got for xmas, but i don't have an outside tap fitted yet.

Have seen you can get those adaptor things that clamp on to a kitchen tap, but not sure if it will be any good.

I have the old school style hook neck taps, and would need something like this....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KITCHEN-TAP-TO-GARDEN-HOSE-PIPE-CONNECTOR-1-2-ROUND-MIXER-TAPS-/111115571907?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Bird_Bath_Feeder_CV&hash=item19df0112c3

Any1 ever used 1?? Will it be any good or will the return pressure just keep blowing it off??

BnQ down the road has the tap kits for less than £10, will grab 1 and fit it at the weekend. Just thought this might be ok as a temp but as you say, the pressure would probably just blow it off.

You want something like THIS; as said, what you've posted usually just blows off the tap.
Also most tap kits are pretty pants and you're better off sorting yourself.

Edit - Oh and HOUSE DAY!

That tap connector wouldn't work on the style of taps i have. Wouldn't sit square on the top.

Drill through back of kitchen sink cupboard and put an outside tap . Only an hour job and saves you trailing inside to find it's popped off and sprayed everything in kitchen

Can't see my next door neighbour being too happy about me doing that.

Had a look at the video's on youtube on how to fit an outside tap. Looks pretty easy actually. Just the access to the pipes under my sink is a bit tight.

Why would your neighbour care about an outside tap?

I think he was probably saying that if you drill through the back of his the cupboard under his sink you'll be in the next door neighbour's house and not outside.

He'd care if it the outside kitchen tap was now sticking out of his kitchen wall. Benefit of the doubt not reading it properly the first time, no excuse for the second.

Yes its under the window. But it's side on, so if i were to go through the back of it, i would be into my neighbours staircase.

Just to clear things up, i would need to go through the side of it.
