Okay so today i realised my bill was £56 as opposed to £37. This is because i went over on my internet without knowing.... Im with orange does anyone know how you can get these 'Reminder Texts' so when im near my limit i get a text letting me know? Is it as simple as ringing up?

Probably. Most phones have warnings built in also if you can spare a few mins to set it up.

That. tap the button on the bottom left, Settings, Data usage then tick Set mobile data limit. If you tab the lines you can enter in a specific amount to ensure u never go over.

Although you're on a pretty awful monthly plan if you're paying £37 a month and not getting unlimited everything

I just got the s3 when it came out i got the phone free with it. I get unlim calls and texts but only 1gig of data and i always use my data :\

Slightly off topic but having a contract phone for almost 6 years now ive decided until phones are truly next generation stuff im just going to get a pay monthly sim. I know i could get what im getting now for about 10 quid a month. The phones novelty ran out about 2 weeks after getting it

Also my friend has just got a ipad and uses his phone to do that portable hot spot thing its also something im going to look into

Thats what I did. Got a giffgaff sim when my contract ended and £12 a month gets me unlimited internet.

phones these days aren't built to last forever though, and mines almost 3 years old now so freezes every once in a while.

If you don't like the built in options there are also apps for it, I've got 3G Watchdog, just the free version, works well

You got billed extra for going over your internet?

That's a bit shite. O2 just slow you down to 2G speeds, if not slower. No additional charges though.
