But for how much?
The purchase price for the wreck on the show was total BS, I think most would agree
http://www.celebritycarsblog.com/2014/01/barrett-jackson-update-dennis-collinsgas-monkey-ferrari-f40/
Reggie Jackson is said to be the buyer for $675K or $742,500 including fees etc

You mean to say TV isn't 100% real
I thought its a nice car, but I'd prefer one as Ferrari intended. Deffo wouldn't pay more for it being on TV either.

See this on gmg's facebook page last week. Pretty much confirmed that they didn't pay 400k for the car in the first place.

Doesn't confirm much of anything really. That auction was for dennis. He bought GM out so whats to say he hasn't sold it at a loss to himself

Show ponies require a high level of workmanship because they are effectively under scrutiny alot of the time. This lot look like they buy fucked motors and knock them out to sell asap. I would be interested to see one up close

You can see most of the builds aren't built to look factory fresh in the close up's of the finished stuff.
but it's a 50-80 year old car that has to be done in a small amount of time.
