Looking through them a mouse type would probably be best for getting it at everything but I cant see it working very well, thinking a round orbital? but what does everyone else use?

I'd be going for a pencil/ die grinder with emery wheels. There will always be wee corners you won't be able to get at with a flat sander, with a die grinder you can do everything and there's a much bigger choice of tools

we usually use an Orbital sander and then smaller/confined bits by hand
