I'm a bit of a fan of Halfords Advanced tools. However, i have managed to snap a good few of my tools.

What else is good out there?

Quite fancy a diesel power washer from machine mart Bit pricey though!

I've snapped a couple of halfords bits - a torx socket and an allen socket. They literally sheered off.

Annoyingly lost the receipt for my 150pc tool kit - should really have photocopied it

I scan all bills and receipts in. Storage space is cheap these days.

Believe it or not, my dropbox subscription costs were not the reason why I didn't scan them in

I just shoved the receipt in my wallet with a note to "do it later", few months later I end up with an unreadable scrap of paper

There's a huge selection Andrew. Are you wanting cheap or decent? DIY or professional level stuff?

The direction lever fell out of my ratchet the other week, gave it to the guy he just handed me a working one back two minutes later. No questions, no receipt. I think they like me because I go in wearing overalls.
