Going to colour coat the plastics on a white bora, ive done bits and pieces of body and paintwork before and the results have been fairly reasonable.
Hopefully someone in the trade can give me a bit of advice though whats the best way to prep the textured trim? Rub with 240 then plastic prime and high build primer or would a good rub with scotchbrite pads before primer be sufficent?

I find it best to use 180 on a da to get it a bit furry then plastic prime and high build. Flat and paint. The furry ness gives a good key to stick too

As tom said. You'll be there for ages with just 240. Although depends how smooth you want it.
