No idea how you get it through an MOT, tyre treads need covering.

Probably some other stuff to do with lighting, must be a set distance from the floor etc. although not sure whether that's tested in an MOT. It would be in an IVA if it became applicable.

Chap round mine had what he called a monster truck.

It basically was a monster truck chassis with a smaller engine. And a landrover cruiser shell bolted to the top of t. Was all road legal and driven all the time.
Looked a complete plank in it mind you.
So it can be done

There was a "homemade" tank on ebay the other week.

Basically a lorry with a homemade tank shell plonked on it, but the tracks turned etc, had the normal truck wheels as well, will have to find it to explain.
