yeah was nearly 2GB i think! that plus iDVD and a few other i apps i never use + spare language files and all that jazz took off about 4GB extra!

Seemed about 3GB of the clean was old backups on my external HDD/time machine that were sat like ghost files in the trash...

Everyone who has ever bout a 128GB MacBook Air has regretted it. Where as I go by smugly with the 256GB version and have no issues with the disk size at all

I have the 256GB and still want more space. Running VMs and Photos are a killer for space

would agree, though when i got mine it was the first or second mdoel and 256GB was £2-300 more IIRC

You managed to clear some temp files, which will come back, and it cost £35.

Could have got far more GB per £ from a USB hard drive, or even a memory stick.

o i c. yes perhaps, but then i can keep clearing stuff with the software at least. this has done enough to kepe me going until such time as i can sort out the photo folders
