So as some of you will know i have a phase 3 clio dci... 55 plate with 100k miles

Seems my fuel pump has let go... Im being told to expect a 2-3k bill? WTF

Whats the actual costs? What can i check myself to know if its a lost cause? What is it worth as is?

Btw i can get it to start... But it dies after around 20 seconds

what do u mean fuel pump let go? where are you from? theres a Renault place by me called four ashes Renault give them a ring there really good a little slow but good. charge by job not an hour I used them before xmas when my belt jumped 3 teeth

Check the fuel filter housing for metal fragments

It will cost a fortune. When they go wrong they are a pain in the arse.

Make sure you take it to someone who knows what they are doing or it will never be the same again.

I know lol something to do with needing a whole new fuel/injection sytem.... The fuel pump alone is £400 - then 4 new injectors...

second hand fuel tank, new fuel filter, might get a few more miles out of it

stripped the filter and opened it today... Metal in there for sho

I actually fancy a clio 197 now - may bodge this running then trade it against one
