BBC3 is a good channel.
But the constant reruns of family guy and american dad drive me crazy.
But it is a decent channel, probably one of their most popular medias...so why they're getting rid of this, instead of bbc parliament, or something (not saying that's not important just that it's likely less popular).
Bunch of fuckwits. They should just fund each channel like regular broadcasters have to and scrap that bloody fee as well.

As already said, they're moving it online (although it could appear again as a ConnectTV channel)
Personally i only watch BBC3 like Hammer says - for Family Guy/American Dad when f'all else in on at 11PM. But i can see why a lot of people are up in arms about the FTA channel being removed.
I'm also not convinced getting rid of the license fee is the right thing to do; it'd affect a lot more than a handful of TV channels.

Decent channel overall, why bbc2 still exists I don't know. Nobody I know watches it
You like cars and nobody you know watches Top Gear?
I didn't even know top gear was on bbc2.
I don't watch top gear

This isn't a "I'm too cool for top gear"
Post. I just don't enjoy it, I don't go around telling anybody that'll listen.
I mentioned it because I was asked.

Tbf. The license fee keeps the Cricket and football comma on the radio too which I'd be miffed if I couldn't listen to
Edit. Also, lots of nerd stuff, Attenborough, and bbc4 things which are sometimes rather interesting

Some properly interesting stuff on BBC 4. Annoying thing is most of the time I forget and, if there isn't any cricket on, just end up watching repeats of Top Gear, Wheeler Dealers or QI

I think people should have the choice to vote for or against tv license . I would be happy sacrificing bbc to put the money towards sky . It's a fucking joke paying £145 when to watch anything decent you need to pay sky/virgin another £60

BBC offers vastly better programming than the majority of other channels and you've got to remember the license fee doesn't just go towards TV or radio channels; it funds online services (iPlayer makes other channels OD services look immature), digital TV and a shed load of R&D.
Let's be honest, you pay more for your landline that you never use than you do for the license fee

£60 (a month) on Sky also gets you 99% shit mixed in with the stuff that's worth watching.

Wonder if the tv license fee will be reduced? Wishful thinking.
Watch everything on catch-up, no fee required.
That's getting on for Kz levels of tight

As opposed to basically just throwing your money down the drain.

But if I watched a bbc channel judt once, I'd be legally obliged to pay the fee, wouldn't I?
Not worth the worry.
