I've seen an old campervan in a barn. It looks like no-one lives there and this van along with another car and static caravan have stood for many years.

How do I find out more about the campervan and the owners of the land? Preferably as cheap as possible!

I don't know if the van can be saved as I can't really go rooting through someone's land to take a good look.

For the land you could do a land registry check, not sure how much they cost.

For the vehicles as they stand, you could apply for the information from the DVLA, but you would need very very good reasoning for them to release it. Alternatively if your friends with on of the boys in blue and he doesn't mind bending the rules he should be able to find out.

You could always apply for the logbook on the vehicle, it wouldn't make you the owner, just the registered keeper so not sure what you would gain as you would be breaking the law by trespassing if you were to remove the vehicle from its location but it may get the attention of the owner and for them to come out of the wood work.

Unless you do all the work yourself buy a decent one. Restoring a rotten one will take hundreds of man hours
