Could potentially be getting what I would say is the mintest mk2 fiesta in the uk but unsure what its worth.
Its just a bog standard spec 1.1 automatic in red, not faded, no rust anywhere, car has never seen rain before, whole car is like brand new, original exhaust still silver, not a scratch or ding on the body, under the bonnet like new. Basicly it looks as if its just rolled out of the showroom. Has 10,000 miles.
Guy who has it is asking me 2000 but ive no interest in it tbh unless i was making profit. Will it be worth anything more or is that the right sort of money?
Got no internet atm except for my phone which is shit so cant do much homework and cant upload pics.

If its the mintest Mk2 Fiesta in the UK, im pretty sure he will know this, have done his homework, and has priced it to what he thinks its worth.
It might be worth £2k, or even £1k. But as it is, you probably aren't going to make any money on it.

Be worth fuck all once you tint the windscreen, cut the springs and forget to tighten the wheel nuts

Couldn't see it being worth anymore than £2,000, would be a good buy for £1,200.

lol i obviously wouldnt be modifying it im not that stupid, i thought it was a bargain at 2k lol but i was thinking of the way escorts and the likes are priced and have seen mk1 fiestas at 4k plus. Within being low spec though and automatic can see why it wouldnt be worth as much.
Will try and get pics up, mustve been stored well as its still on its original tyres and there not dosed or cracked nor are any of the pipes in the engine bay.

Can you please find out how it hasn't rusted? Seems impossible. Those old fords used to rust in the summer, the metal was so shit.

Doubt it's worth much as it's not a desirable model, ie supersport, xr2 etc

Could possibly make money on it but it's a risk. Would say you could buy it. Fully detail it and take a lot of good detailed pics, put it on eBay and people will bid. Would estimate around £3k.

I would say 2k is about right. If it was the same but mk1 then you could expect some more but like you say, it is bog standard and basic so not really desirable.

It's possible you could sell that on to an old person who's old Fiesa has rotted away. Old people don't like change!
At 2k, i don't see much profit in it!

£2k is extortionate to me, bog standard crappy fiesta, even if it is old and in good condition.
Surely people aren't that interested in a basic model, XR2 ect maybe. Seems crazy to me
