Is what Im looking at here the results of too much buffing with G3 compound? Baring in mind its pretty soft paint, DC2 Integra import.
Can see it along the downwards edge of the bonnet, and above the badge

G3 is far too aggressive for Honda paint anyway tbh. It's very soft and quite thin so only needs a medium cut compound and polishing pad and you won't be able tompush correction too much otherwise you'll burn through. Colour match will require front end respray minimum I suspect :-(

With it being where it is. The font edge of the bonnet could be painted and grill and just lacquer out the rat of the bonnet. Reduce the colour difference on the wings.

May be a little difference but that will just be fresh and old lacquer and with out doing the hole car you would just be chasing yourself n

Aye thats the problem graeme, where do you stop with it! Thats why I opted for bumper respray and then he buffed wings / bonnet to bring it back a bit to match. Might just have to live with it
