I was here years ago, a green corsa with an xe.
So i bought this "shell" with 51k
Plans until i rebuild this xe engine are :
Cali leathers, Porsche D90's, Bilstein shocks eibach springs. Big brake upgrade, braided lines etc etc...few other wee odd things.
Engine will be going in standard xe style, but i have another block i'm building up but rather undecided to go with high comp pistons etc and go for high reving, or forge the bottom end. Either way it's getting yamaha r1 carbs which i have lying around with a bogg bro manifold 
ohh nearly forgot f20 box with a fuck off quieffe diff
i could post pictures of all the bits if folks want or wait a few weeks and see.

Would love a Quaife, but there so expensive, and second hand there like hens teeth.

That's the new diff, about all the progress i've made so far.
I'll update after tomorrow and Monday as i plan on getting seats, suspension and perhaps the brakes done.
I have 2 engines, so for now a built standard xe will go in, but i'll rebuild another block stronger and add the carbs + advanced dizzy etc etc.

D90s are becoming the new speedlines.
