I just keep ours down the side of the back garden where you don't see them. Power washed them last weekend 
I think they would annoy me if they were in full view all the time.
Problem with having additional storage is the initial cost, maintence such as painting them and replacing them again when they need replacing.
These look pretty good though Ben.

Unfortunately we have no side space  so choices were on the driveway (which looks shit), in the garage (I use it as flat ground for oil checks on the z4) or the back garden.
Hopefully when painted, they should be protected for long enough for me to forget about them for a while.

It does look good, that is the sort of thing that would annoy me no end and I would inevitably end up buying some expensive solution like you have.

ditto. used to keep mine in my garage when I lived with Natalie, meant having to take my car out to take them out but was worth it... such a pita
