What are you guys using?

I like te noise "pidgeon" noise without them, but was wondering on alternatives, ideally with some videos.

I bought a baileys one to get me up and running, but sounds a bit pikey, so would like a change

I stuck a baileys on mine one of them trumpet ones it's actually quieter than the normal type they do sound gay but I don't like the chatter been told it isn't healthy for turbo and rather have my car sounding a bit homosexual rather than replacing the turbo every 12months

Agree with this, most sound chavvy, best noise was when i removed mine and blanked it completely.

Just running a standard recirc on mine atm and runs so much better, should surely get more noise on yours by just fitting a large cone filter?

Hate the sound of dump valves, but love wastegate chatter. Had my Evo fluttering for 4 years now, running 1.8 bar and still on the original turbo..

The got mine fluttering its tits off just now, the only thing I reckon I'd change it for would be one of the 'American' types that give a little whistle instead of just a rush of air

I may blank it off, it's not an expensive turbo anyway.

I can't run bigger done, as I don't have the space to

I run a recirculating one on mine, and with a cone filter its nearly as loud as the atmospheric one I had. (Swapped as ecu was throwing a fit about maf readings)

I know what I mean, the GReddy Type S, been discontinued now, got one imported from Japan for my last Impreza.

Also had the HKS SSQV one on another Impreza.

Both produce very unique sounds, but I found the HKS one annoying after a while.

Of course, it's THE best sounding dump valve HKS SSQV being second, then the rest just pretty much all make the same standard ptschhhh noise.
