Just some quick advice, got the new car and gave it a polish and wax with autoglym super resin followed with autoglym HD wax. What's the best or good detailer to use quickly after a wash to give it a nice shine and a little bit of extra protection between waxing.
Got this but not sure if good or not for a white car ect?

Oh ok ace I've got some red mist here to, thinking maybe exchange the meguires spray wax for some thing else instead of wasting a new bottle of red mist. Been sat for some years now but surely won't go off? Seems waste if it's still good to use, seems it's meant to smear ect first.

Also how do you rate the HD wax for durability? Only got one later on at the moment but will build a couple more up over the next few weeks.

No need to layer it, particularly if you're maintaining with a good quick detailer.
I usually get a good 2-3months out of a single coat before the beading starts to fade.

Our valater in work gives all the cars a layer of it after they have all been machine polished and detailed gives them the protection the extra shine and lasts for a fair few washes unless you use products like TFr thattll eat into it , I only have 2 layers of it on my cav and iv probably washed it about 30 times and the dirt still falls off water beads off it and once leathered off it's still super shiny

I use autoglym rapid detailer. Works fine.
I haven't waxed the car for about 9 months now and it still beads lovely.

So do you guys who wax, just wash and dry for a few months after waxing?
Or do you polish everytime you wash car too?

I wax and then leave it until next time I wax, can't be bothered drying every time.
If you polished it every time you would be polishing the wax off and completely wasting your time.

Polish everytime? No way!
Quick wash and dry (using the quick detailer to aid drying) once a week and then polish and wax twice a year, tops.

Mist on, and spread/ buff with a microfibre.
Is your car well waxed?
It will sort of smear at first but then Evaps off.
I've always got great results and beading.

2-3 weeks - wash, dry and quick detailer
2-4 months - wash, dry, clay, wax
Once a year - wash, dry, clay, polish, wax
Oh, and I use Meguiars Last Touch after recommendation from Rich H. Got nothing to compare it to, but does what I want. Has a horrible coconut smell, though, that I can't stand and seems to linger in the towels even after a wash, so I'll be looking at replacing it once used up (one large bottle has lasted me for 2 years).

Ill just be topping the wax up every few months, and quick wash and detailer every week to keep a shine, being a white car soon as I drive forward it's dirty

Once a week, wash, dry, quick detail/spray sealant
Once every 6 months ish (spending on previous sealant/wax) I'll fully strip and decontaminate it. Jewel the paintwork up if it's needed. Then apply another wax/sealant
And as for the spray wax/sealant or quick detailer.
Nothing is beating Sonax brilliant shine detailer at the moment. It's rediculas

Went with the focus zetec s in the end, nice car love the exterior, first white car I've had and it does make it look a right old barge
When it comes round to replacement think I'll go red

That's what I mostly use for a drying aid/quick detailer. It's a Bonny good product like. Even on a none protected car. It puts abit of protection down.
