never had the pleasure of owning a white vehicle before. but now i do. and the front end gets noticeably plastered in little insect carcasses and blood. sponge and warm water is a pain in the ass, and doesn't really remove them all.
is there a decent enough, non detailing extortionately priced product, say available from a halfords, or online, that can tackle this for me? as I'm getting too old and too lazy to be sat on the floor scrubbing the front end of a vehicle.
thanks.

I just wash the car as normal, hose off and dry etc. then go back with quick detailer at the end and gentle rub with a microfibres on each remaining splatter gets them off easily.
Easiest way I have found.

The Autoglym stuff works well for me.
I spray on and leave for a minut or so, then go over the areas with a softish brush/sponge to agitate it all and then rinse off. No problems.

If you can get hold of some, Autosmart G101 is brilliant for this. before washing the car spray it on and leave it to dwell for a couple of minutes but don't let it dry. You'll see the bugs just melting away. Then just blast it off with a pressure washer. Any little bits of remaining bugs will be easily removed when you wash the car after

Can't care and be lazy. It's a case of effort vs money with these products. Could clean it off with water and a tissue really. Or buy a £10 bottle and a £5 cloth and clean it whilst enjoying the smell of some chemical mixed with fruit.

Yup. Using this upon recommendation from our resident detailer, Rich.
Spray on, leave, pressure wash, repeat if necessary. After two coats there's hardly ever anything left. Amazing stuff.

If properly going at the car then I would clay it, but after the bug and tar remover. I also use the AG one and found it works well. +1 for leaving it dwell

I used some wipes once, I wasn't convinced that they wouldn't scratch the paint. Think they were Turtle Wax.

Autosmart hazsafe xls or autofinesse citrus power are a few I use on customers cars. Get them in 5L as you will use it over time.
