For spec - http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6033&idPhone2=6074.
Both reasonable phones, both have their issues; tbh i'd head to a store and have a play with both and make up your mind that way.

I have the one m8. If there is a metal bodied s5 on the way I would go for that as the metal body is probably the only I thing I prefer of the m8 over the s5.

I have an s5 and love it. I'm not a phone geek but coming from an iPhone I like how you can customise everything and download films etc very easily.
I tried an m8 in the shop and it just felt to big and clunky in the hand. Also, the m8 camera didn't impress me.
They are making a metal bodied s5 but I think it's a Korean release only, you can buy metal case backs on ebay. Having had the phone for 4 months I have got used to the rubbery back and prefer it as it's nicer to hold and doesn't slip etc.

Cheers for the replys, those are the phones I get free through work so not looking at anything else. I do like the the Galaxy series but not a fan of the plastic body S5 or the port cover, I know I will break it. but then I do like the metal body of M8 but was worried about camera. Will go into a few stores to check them out especially the camera features, again thanks for help.
