I can definitely play 30gb mkv's. I was saying that I never download anything that's a blu-ray file structure, so wouldn't know/care if it didn't play them.

wouldnt mind knowing this too.
I currently just have plex installed on my old desktop (q6600 quad) 8gb ram and it works very well. only reason I have thought of changing is the pc is on 24/7 and uses a lot of power.
