Although not a nice person, what crime did she commit?
As far as I can tell, she's been arrested for her views/opinions?
i.e shes not planned any attacks or threatened anyone?

10 years ago it would have been called trolling and the police would have simply confiscated the weapons..
As much as people with radical views need to be 'corrected' how long is it until all of these new powers that have been used in the name of anti-terrorism being to be used against your 'common-or-garden criminals'..
I.e. do we get to a point where someone can brag about something they have done on facebook and its enough to convict them ?

I wondered that too Bart so i looked it up. The term the papers use is Inciting terrorism, but i think it relates to Part 1 Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006 which is all about Encouragement of Terrorism.
It's an interesting point though when we consider that the Government have decided that supporting anti-Assad forces is an act of terrorism, when not too long ago they were considering it themselves?  Surely the Western aerial bombardment of Libya was in the same vein?

I wouldn't encourage my kids to hold guns myself, but that's surely not a criminal offence?
I bet there are plenty of American's who post photos of them with guns and grenades etc (Dan Bilzerian springs to mind).
It still doesn't sound like theirs any intent to commit such an act?

Can we just point out that the pictures of her son were with toy weapons and not real ones. If you read further down it says about her having pictures of other children with real weapons.
