I have a plate on retention which i want to put on the mrs car.
Retention is in my name, car is in the mrs name.
Can I visit the DVLA office with her documents and my retention document and put on her car or will i need to transfer the plate to her name?

AFAIK you can nominate any car for the plate to go on providing you fill the form out with the details correctly.

I would have thought it was common sense really.
After all, most people get plates off complete strangers. How do you think they go about putting it on a car.
