I would say yes, did the new injectors come with a data sheet for each one?
I work on larger industrial diesels at work and the common rail injectors come with a data sheet with calibration codes unique to each injector that has to be programed into the ecu to get correct fuelling.

They do need programming. They won't come with a data sheet though. The numbers you need are on the injectors.

A snap on scanner will do it so it doesn't have to be Renault.
If you were within driving distance of say come down to renault and I'll do it for you.
Any garage should be able to though.

Yes they do. Each injector has a serial number on which needs to be put into the ecu.

Our ones have the number on the top of them, but it's very small so you need a magnifying glass.

Some also simply have a QR Code.. But yeah the Renault stuff will have a code! also be aware some time on the dci engines they are colour coded too, so if the coloured plastic collet is missing you're pretty f**ked

Were they new or second hand?

You need to make sure you match the coloured ring as this denotes the basic flow rate and the colour is dependent on the power output so the dci 75 will have a different colour to the dci 90.

Often get faulty injectors where they are removed and refitted on these.

Not on the 1.5's! Just taking them out (Carefully!) putting them on down and putting back in.
