Are you offshore Stoney? Who do you work for?

I was made redundant from Technip (http://renews.biz/75044/technip-pulls-plug-on-offshore/) last year but thankfully found a new position at Subsea 7 before the job cuts really started becoming widespread.

I've not seen it like this before. Granted I'm only in my mid 20's so haven't been through the previous slumps but it's miserable in Aberdeen at the moment. Just happy to have employment.

Whilst the Americans continue producing shale at silly low prices per barrel then we don't stand much of chance with our ultra-deep water market. Some say the production costs in ultra-deep Brazilian waters are upwards of $100 per barrel given the huge investment for subsea infrastructure.

Once the General Election is out of the way & the Russians start to play ball, all will be well again.

Too much politics involved,

Assuming she's a driller? Where is she located at the moment?

Reassuring to hear someone is still drilling in North Sea in the current climate.
