Hi all

Had a new car a week now, and need to get better pics tbh.

Can't rate the Octavia's enough, have had the MK1, MK2 and now MK3 VRS and they're reliable, drive well, and are a lot cheaper to the VW/AUDI equivalent..

I think the colour is love/hate, but it looks really good in the flesh , but i'm liking the 60MPG

I like the colour but needs the black grille!

Cool car, I drove one of these before I got the DS and really wanted one but lead times were bonkers and went with the bean tin instead.

Brilliant cars, cannot get over how much space they have inside too.

Looks good in the Green.

I'm still not sold on these in general over the Mk2 personally...
Had a couple of boggo Mk3s on hire now, still prefer my old Mk2 over them.

That looks really good from the front, but a bit bland from the rear... what engine is in these now? I nearly bought a Mk1 once, but the Clio 182 tempted me away!

This looks great

I seem to remember you having some decent cars previously

What's it actully like to drive. Is it a decent steer or generic german derv

Iv been tempted by one at the local dealer but don't know if its worth a test drive

Go drive one - they are lively enough. I had 2 special edition cliosports before my mk2 Vrs and I still genuinely enjoyed driving the skoda. The new mk3 is much better, especially the steering and driving position

I notice this on mercs, looks like a nice shaped exhaust, then as you get closer its just chrome trim around a hole in the bumper with a normal exhaust behind it

So it doesn't actually have a dual exit exhaust?

At least theres an exhaust pipe behind it though. From what whitter said, it appears this is just cosmetic with no exhaust behind it.
