I know a few people have had these wheels on their cars over the years.

Anybody had an issue with the genuine centre caps falling out when the wheels get a bit warm?

I had two come out (luckily in the garage) at Oulton but I didn't have the metal spring clip in the back of them (broken a few centre caps in my time because of those clips).

Caps are now all in with the clips, but still feel a bit loose. I get the feeling I'll be launching them into various barriers/bushes/grandstands at Cadwell later this month

Wondering if I got ripped off on "genuine" caps or if this is normal?

Nope, mine have never dropped out.
They seem to go for cray prices second hand on ebay. Sell your set on and call up Rim Stock and get new ones for about a fiver each

Just seen these. Might be worth a punt on

Seems to be a permanant thing, they've been sat unused in my garage for a couple of weeks and they feel slack in the holes.

Had them on one of my early Corsa's. Once the wheels where on the car they never quite clipped in correctly.
