Hi guys. I have an oil catch tank on my 1.6 sport running from the rocker cover. But am finding that the catch tank fills up with a lot of water and a little bit of white gunk

Should you really have water coming through the rocker cover though?

I don't know much about these vauxhall engines. But I wouldn't want "lots of water" anywhere but my cooling system.

My catch can contents are very milky, as said - it's just condensation in the can.

Had a google, i think you are correct Nic, some water is ok. Lots of it may not be, depends how often you empty it.

my high tuned race spec engine i built myself did it. i mean not often, probably emptied the tank once every 5-6 months.
