So kept getting people offering to take the Skyline off my hands and one day had somebody who came back to me with a decent offer of swapping for this Evo, I wasn't planning on keeping it as I'm really after a Toyota Chaser JZX100, So now having owned the Evo it's fair to say I love it and wuddnt look back for the mo.

Initial plans were to tidy it up but then I thought I'd build something half decent to take to a few shows this year:

The Skyline ended up like:

So swapped cars in Bristol this is how it looked...

Current Spec:
Mitsibushi Evo 8
Imported in 2005
59K
Mot August 2015.
Full service history

18X9.75 XXR 527's
Coilovers
Camber adjustable solid top mounts
Roof Vortex Spoiler
Front Carbon Splitter
Canards
HKS Mushroom filter
Carbon Cooling plate
Mongoose exhaust system inc decat
Front & Rear strut braces
Xenon's
Remap ecu with 2 stage settings on cooler spray button
Ran a 324.5 with proof very healthy engine all work done at Alan Jeffries

It had shitty tinted rear lights so managed to get some JDM Evo 7 lights

The colour is actully really good, got a mate to machine it anyway

So anyway fast forwarding on - Bought some coilovers, wheels etc, still wanted a fast road car and it now looks like..

And that's where I am atm, plans are more power, Evo 9 rear bumper, HKS Hi-silent exhaust, few Defi gauges and then general tidy up

Looks good, apart from the multifit wheels and shit windscreen sticker. Colour of the wheels really suit it.

Engine bay standard?

Detangoed headlights would look good.

Nice one that, though not keen on the wheels myself.

Has anyone called it "the banana" yet?

XXR's look horrible, otherwise lovely.

Should be a good engine if built by Mr Jeffries!

This. Every Evo or Impreza I see these days has those wheels. Not keen on the window sticker either, but great otherwise.

Wondered what the purpose of the bumper aero spats were for a moment, then read it's a fast Road car so all good

Same idea as having a snorkel on a landrover that doesn't see a puddle.

I hate them, But as they're already on there before I got the vehicle and have massive screws holding them on I'll have to wait till the front end gets sprayed before they come off!

Been changing a few things under the bonnet, sprayed plug cover black, manifold heat shield, carbon cooling panel, binned the baileys dump valve off for a uprated recirc and general tidy up

And a random one:

Very nice. Don't like the wheels tho. Front lights really need to be split and detango'd.
