Hate going to see "mint" cars that are fucking sheds. People need shooting for that. Went to look at a mint low mile E46 for the old man and the whole car was mullered and inside smelt like the inside of a jock strap. Ducking jebs. Was worth 50% of what he was asking.
Is the SAAB quick? Work with a guy who has one. He loves it!
£2,500 in the end ticked more boxes though and my civic sold for top money so thought why not! As long as it still works in 12 months time I can't see it loosing any money!

Tbh, they're generally solid cars. Few notes -
# Make sure you only use fully synth oil, anything else tends to cause issues with the oil pickup.
# Do oil changes around the 5K mark.
# Might also be worth looking at getting the updated breather kit fitted (kit is around £100 quid), as there was an issue with the hoses on the older version resulting in oil starvation.
# The SID displays suffers from dead-pixels which is usually caused by a dodgy ribbon cable, replacements aren't too expensive otherwise you can bodge it with an iron or get it repaired (few people on eBay do it).
# Worth looking at the rear shocks and bushes for excessive wear; front tends to be ok.
# Change the transmission fluid if the car has done more than 60k miles and it hasn't been done.
Good choice though
