Right I'm putting standard lower arms back on corsa. Car is p reg shell type 2 do I need lower arms from a type 2 shell or can I use the ones from my old gsi

I used later type on my p reg.

However I just bought new arms and ball joints together as made sense

A “P” reg type 2 shell? I thought the type 2 shell change over was only on the face lift (1997 “R” reg onwards).

You learn something every day

Anyway... You can use either setup on either shell. But you need to change the lot, meaning… the lower arm, the tie bar and lower cross member fitting, and ball joint as you can’t mix and match them. And bear in mind that the tie bar bushes differ between early and late setups too.
