Dunno where this should go in this day and age of CS? Anyway, just bought a new Sony BT car stereo for the Mini (R53 Cooper S) and want the steering wheel controls to work but I don't know what the correct adapter I need is to make them work - any ideas? If I can make the phone work off the steering wheel then all the better!
Dank wel

Look at Connects2; they do a range of plug-play adaptors to allow for factory steering wheel controls to work with aftermarket headunits.
Might be worth reading the mini forums though, as sometimes functions get removed and buttons get swapped around.

Depends on year and features you've got installed but one of these -
http://www.connects2.co.uk/ProductInformation.aspx?id=10503&p=CTSBM003.2
http://www.connects2.co.uk/ProductInformation.aspx?id=10507&p=CTSBM004.2
http://www.connects2.co.uk/ProductInformation.aspx?id=10516&p=CTSBM005.2

Tbh, you'd be better off search/asking on a Mini forum rather than a Corsa forum

I assumed it was the same no matter what the car was but that seems to have sorted it, the first one is the one i want

You're welcome.
Edit: infact the link i posted shouldn't of been that one, it should've been within that first page.
