I didn't value yours at any price. I just told you what others are going for. You did ask, nothing worth laughing at going on tbh.
DSG one here?

More miles than mine, although not much more. Sketchy past, i.e. part service history, more previous owners than mine. Theres plenty more like mine that are priced the same, if not higher.

In respect of the add, id say the main reason is the 2 months MOT. Sounds dogee as hell.
Any buyer is going to ask themselves the reason for you not putting 12 months on. Ether the cars a shitter, or you can't afford £50. Both off putting to a potential buyer
Can you MOT a car whenever then? I thought you could only do it 4 weeks in advance of it expiring? I don't have a problem putting it through another MOT.
You can indeed, take it for an MOT. Stick it on Pistonheads and ebay (classified add) and it will sell

And are they selling?
When I sold my Grand Cherokee there was similar cars on Autotrader at over £3000, I advertised mine for £2800 and eventually found someone interested in it (about 6 weeks after advertising it) who gave me £2200. Meanwhile the ones advertised for over £3000 where still on Autotrader, unsold.

I think it's possible you like your car too much to sell it and maybe you're asking too much money for it?
Look at it from the buyers perspective.
MOT would probably help the sale
Unless your a trader offering part ex and a warranty?

What Mike said, what cars are advertised for and what they actually sell for is sometimes completely different.

If you want to gauge a real value go onto eBay, browse the completed listings for similar cars and look at any GREEN price as that will indicate that it actually sold.
Never go by Autotrader, its massively over inflated because there are too many dealers asking too much for their stock.
Damn if the prices on autotrader were an accurate reflect of what stuff was worth I'd be having a sell-up right now!

Took me over 3 years to sell my CRX, ended up dropping the price to nearly a third of what I wanted for it! Sold it to someone on the CRX forum in the end actually.
I hate selling cars.

Took £7300 in the end, but that's without me having to get it MOT'd for the new owner

Sorry bit late to this party but a longer MOT would have helped massively.
