Tempted to get one of these for over winter when the car's in hibernation. Are there any recommendations/ones to avoid?
The ctek ones seem popular and reasonably priced?

I made one out of an old rectifier that used to power a UPS system, been running fine for 15+ years now.

Mine's a CTEK too - does exactly what it's meant to do and a lot cheaper than a new battery!
