I know this isn't a Corsa related question, but how many of us still own Corsas here?!

Looking into purchasing either a C220/C320 over the next month and i'm interested in knowing the maintenance cost differences between the 2 models.

Will be looking at either 08-09 model, and the prices seem similar for both models.

In terms of replacement parts, how much more expensive is a C320 in regards to things like gearboxes or other big mechanical jobs?

The old 200 diesels go forever the 220s aren't as reliable.. The 320's are solid.

I'd be more worried about the gear box.

One C220 CDI issue to look out for is Black Death (black sticky tar like substance) around the injector area, caused by leaking injector seals. bolts usually shear off when you try to remove them, and injectors get stuck in by the gunk. Needs specialist equipment to remove for the sake of a tiny copper washer that costs a couple of quid.

My godmother had a C220 CDI estate on a 57 plate that ATE both diesel and oil
