i quite like these rims, i want to get em in 15's 6.5inch wide but they are ET 40.
i sent an e-mail to ppl selling me the wheels an they said they will fit, but were not sure if they would fit my car since it's lowered 40mil.
i know this repetative but the wheel place suggested i put my suspension back to standard, fook dat...
oh is it true that if you have an offest like ET 40 on a corsa then you los out on performance as well as handling?
aren't the wheels on M4tt Cs corsa ET 38 or sumin?

ET40 means they stick out 9mm further than ET49 wheels. Which would make handling better cos the track is 18mm wider than with ET49's.
Standard Corsa C Sri 16" wheels are ET40

what's the downside of having wheel at ET 40 then?
you can't lower it n e more than 40 ish at the back but that doesn't bother me really
Does it affect acceleration at all, or put more strain on n e thing?

Wrong, using a wheel with a very different offset to 49 will result in poor handling since the whole geometry of the setup isnt designed to work with it. Enigmas go up to ET45, so stop moaning and go find them!

I agree with Dave.
I had 15" Voodoos on my car, ET42 and it tramlined like a pig. It was a bloody hard job to keep in a straight line at times. I think the maximum offset for 15" Wolfrace wheels is ET42, although they go to ET45 on 17's.
Having said this though, I previously had 15" TSW Imolas ET40 and they were fine.
