Cheap? If a £42k car is cheap to you then you must be rolling in it
£42K is for the POVERTY spec model and you NEVER see them in poverty spec, everyone ticks the options list like they are doing a multiple choice test.

Thought 'Poverty Pork' was a more widely known phrase - it refers to 996's and 986 shape Boxsters which are generally the unpopular Porsches that can be picked up for not much cash. You can get a 2.5 Boxster for about £3k (or maybe less) now, not that you'd really want one.

Go and find a decent 2.5 986 for £3k and I'll buy it right now...
Find me a decent 996 for sub £10k and I'll buy that too.

Have you actually read the descriptions on those?
The first boxster has got CHG failure and fucked brakes, plus its a nail.
The second has done ONE HUNDRED and SEVENTY THREE THOUSANDS MILES!
And the last one, its more than £3k and its a shitty auto.

What part of "not that you'd really want one" do you not understand Ones around the £3k mark to pop up fairly often, but they're shite.

DaveyLC, why are you going all roid rage on ed? He actually owns one currently. It's not as if he's driving around in a Ford Mondeo with gaffer taped rear bumper and laughing at poor mans Porsche owners.
