Home today waiting to see if I have any work this week. Didn't so decided to do something. Pointless grass down the sides of the shed
Mid way through digging it out
Gravel boards and stones are ordered, will get delivered hopefully Thursday. Got some of that sheeting to go down before the stones as well, not pictured.

Fitted a padlock, took a bit to do then realised its slightly wonky. Arse.
Finished the digging
Put some of that sheeting stuff down loosely for now.
Cut the boards I got a month or so ago from my last job and put them in the loft. Just thrown in for now, going to start screwing them in to the other end of the loft first.
Found a double socket in the loft which I didn't know was there. Cool stuff.
Stuff should arrive Thursday to finish round the shed. Sometimes it's not a bad thing having no work to go to!!

Was told not to put boards over that insulation in the loft by the builders
Not sure why, as I was going to do it too, probs something to do with it squashing it

Its the air in the insulation that is actually 'insulating' so by squashing it and pushing out the air you might as well not have it. It also can trap moisture/condensation if you cover it.

its not over all of it, quite large gaps pal  probably only. Boarding over 1/8th of the loft space.

They put that much in the lofts, extreme circumstances could crack ceilings packing it down, but it will void the NHBC too.
I boarded about 1/3 of mine cause I needed the space but I built up the beams to accommodate the masses of insulation.

Gravel boards and stones got delivered earlier. Same stones as what is round the rest of my house, same supplier the house builders use so it will all match. No work again today so will get on with doing this. 7r not pictured, it's not here today.

Done. Just the stakes to cut down. Might build a small bed Infront of the shed and put some of those cone shaped bushes into it, 4 I think would look nice. About 3ft high. Need to go to home see in a bit so will see what plants they have there. Maybe do it another day though.

Fitted some better bolt things inside the door instead of those twisty things. Had to fit 2 screws either side of the bottom one so when you pull it up to release you can put the handle onto the screws so you don't have to hold it upwards as you open the door. Simple solution I thought. Been a productive day off.

Top one should have gone on the bottom. It has the latch so you don't need them screws. The one you have in the bottom will work with gravity.
