These are my digital ones mind you - i dont like digital. These were only snapshots. The top one is fucked up coz i did it last night and thought it resembled a nightmare.
I dont get my negs scanned coz its too expensive.

Excellent work! I don't get the top one, bit too chaotic for my liking but the castle and scooter are lovely. That said there's probably too much grey sky on the right side of the castle pic and the chrome bar on the scooter is a little corroded. Both out of your hands though I reckon! Very good pics, I like them a lot.
How are you getting black and white with a digital cam? RGB seperation?

Ian - the Nikon 2100 does black and white pics. I presume loads of others can.
Or you can do it once you have uploaded the pics on to PC....
Oh, and great pics by the way.

Ian - On my Nikon i can select Auto or Manual mode - i always use the manual mode as its more versatile - you just go into colour saturation and theres a black and white option in there.
I like the effect you get while using a high speed setting and the flash - it gives a much more punchy, high contrast image.
The top picture is as it was taken - no PS work in there - i used a long exposure of 8 secs then for the first four seconds stood in view then for the last 4 secs i moved toward the camera til i was realy close - you can see my teeth.

Nah - like i say - these are digital and because of the small resolution they wont print very big.
I much prefer film and i develop my own black and white prints - shame i cant get them up here but i dont have them on disk.

have you not got a scanner, i know they're not ideal but it could give us an idea of what sort of stuff you do. I would like to see it anyway.
