A mate of mine was asked to give an old chap up the road a lift with a gearbox of a car he was 'doing up' My mate obliged and got to the garage to find it was the gearbox to an old Alpine Sunbeam raced in the Monte Carlo Rally by Stirling Moss no less!

"mate"

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I once sold some decking wood to a guy, turned up and he asked if we wanted to see what it was for - in the garage a 1914 Silver Ghost
