I love stuff like this.. Absolutely ZERO evidence or source identification to back up any claims..

Other than a few re-shared of blog posts etc...

[Edited on 23-04-2020 by DaveyLC]

I'm editing this again because I've been clicking on a few of the links many of which are articles written during/after the SARS outbreaks (Cov-2)..

[Edited on 23-04-2020 by DaveyLC]

That is not completely true, guaranteed its not thorough harvard referencing and is year 1 science student sloppiness (in places), but the site overall as a whole is pretty good with citing references.

For example I found the data for Iceland in seconds, and the source was the National University Hospital of Iceland, The Department of Microbiology. The 2nd item I clicked on about 50-80% of test positive individuals took me to a BMJ post (title atop the page is intended for health professionals). That article displays 3 references, the first 1 being a 40 page report from the WHO the second links to an Italian news report within which it has both the references.

It could be better with referencing for sure, but find a resource on the internet that is better? or stick with mainstream media reports. I'd be happy someone can point out a better resource as I will certainly use it as a reference

The people behind the website :

Swiss Propaganda Research (SPR), founded in 2016, is an independent nonprofit research group investigating geopolitical propaganda in Swiss and international media. SPR is run by independent academics and receives no external funding.

I will take that over centralised media with the drama, sensationalist reporting in order to get exclusives and up their ratings.

Look what they did with the Story of the 6 week year old Baby that died in the USA, tested as Covid-19 positive. However (and fortunately) the Coroner refused to issues a death certificate stating that Covid-19 was the cause. However the media were all over the death and trying to outdo each other promoting fear stories of danger to Infants. Hasn't the Infant mortality rate been show to be almost zero now? Funny how it suddenly dropped out of the News but someone somewhere got a pat on the back for ratings.

My point being I am not going to write of what I believe is a well balanced and informative resource due to sloppy referencing in places.

he Californian physician Dr. Dan Erickson described his observations regarding Covid19 in a press conference. Hospitals and intensive care units in California and other states have remained largely empty so far. Based on the respective positive test rates, Dr. Erickson calculates that the lethality rate of Covid19 is currently 0.03% in California, 0.05% in Spain, 0.09% in Sweden and 0.1% in New York State, while the lethality rate of the flu in the USA is around 0.13%. (Note: the positive test rate cannot reflect local „hotspot effects“). The probability of surviving Covid19 without symptoms or with mild symptoms is over 95%. Dr. Erickson reports that doctors from several US states have been „pressured“ to issue death certificates mentioning Covid19, even though they themselves did not agree. Dr. Erickson argues that lockdowns and fear weaken people’s immune system and health. There has already been a marked increase in „secondary effects“ such as alcoholism, depression, suicide, and abuse of children and spouses. Dr Erickson recommends that only the sick and not the healthy or the whole society should be quarantined. A mouthguard only makes sense in acute situations such as in hospital, but not in everyday life, according to Dr. Erickson

PMSL

Their data sample is relatively small in the grand scheme of things but I found it to be a very interesting press conference and how they handled some of the questions was superb. A stark contrast to Trump shooting down reporters when he gets a question he does not like or have an answer to.

AAANNNDDD......... The Dr Erickson video was deleted form you tube for 'violating community guidelines'

It was a perfectly legitimate press conference in California where two Doctors shared their statistical data. They made a point of avoiding any political discussion during the questions from reporters too.

If the deletion is not a red flag then I don't know what is

Just been advised that its been re-uploaded by someone else.

Other news in the tinfoil hat world :

There was a video doing the rounds of a supposed NHS consultant who was telling us that Covid-19 was a hoax and was a pyramid for the elite to control us. There was also a supporting video showing said doctor standing in the reception area of a ward with a bunch of NHS clinicians to verify that it was him. To me it looked slightly like two different people. there is a Doctor of the same name on the NHS register but he is an orthopaedic surgeon, the guy in the video is a rectum specialist or something. The people posting it were defending it rigorously but what a crock of shit

Haven't been on here in a while.
Unclear where we are heading at the moment with this. Cases are still on the down, work is quite and we are trying to get back on with normal routine NHS work.
However with all that is going on if there is not a second spike it will very much be more luck then judgement....

Also we all got antibody tested at work last week as part of a data gathering exercise on NHS staff. Looking forward to seeing what the results show

This is the big one. We learn whether to still be worried or whether lockdown was all a load of shit because most people were immune.

I am a negative so my hygiene measures must be on point or the mish mash of PPE is doing its job

Our work team seems roughly a 50/50 split of positive and negative results. Couple of completely asymptomatic ones too.

Yes all antibody testing results as part of a trial. I think they are going to release a summary of the total results so I will post up the outcome.

So it was 5000 staff tested with the antibody study. 25% positive 75% negative. Interesting snap shot of a work population.

In other news R rate is now above 1 in areas. Will the government have to balls to hault the opening of shops etc on Monday?

25% positive for antibody is a shame - that's nowhere near safe.

Yer and that is technically an at risk group. General population likely to be lower still I think.

At least. A long way to go yet and cases need to get dropping fast before summer is over.
All the fuckery going on at present isn't helping matters either I am sure.
