how much do you think it would cost me for a full respray in rage illusion maybe with metalflakes in. the car is black at the moment.i also need a combat 2 wide arch kit with spoiler fitted at the same time.Just need a rough guide to what i can expect to pay.

around 3-3.5 k i would sayi got quoted over 2k just for the spray job and that was nt a flip (is illusion s flip or not ?)

yea it is mate.seems abit steep to me though.how much extra work is involved in spraying a flip colour as to a normal solid colour?

alot ,you may get it cheaper maybe nearer to 3 than 3.5

why not go to a bodyshop for a rough quote? take pictures of the bodykit and ask them for a rough price.
if the bodyshop know what they are doing then they should be able to give you a rough estimate. only rough because they don't know the quality of the parts but still a better estimate than off here.
koni charges 1k to fit the kit from what i have read.
rage respray is 2k from what ppl say, based on paint prices and the fact that flip paint is harder to spray.
so i reckon 2.5k tops
find out rage paint costs first tho to give the bodyshop some guidence - think they are made by cambridge chemicals

theres 900 quid for your paint
plus where sayin metal flake so theres more
about a grand just for the paint you want
add that onto jaffas 2.5 and you have
3.5k

go to your local cruise ask ppl with bodywork done, see what they think of the work and see what you reckon to the job
get your local phone book and go down to the different bodyshops see what you think to how they work, ask to see examples of their work

cheers jaffa,very helpfull.
Thinking of maybe just goin black with a metal flake cos its abit different. Other thing is i wont need to get the inside bits done then ie,engine bay,inside doors etc. so may work out abit cheaper. i can keep my black sunstrip then aswell lol

but that cvompany is also one of the bigger bodyshops where you pay for quality yes but you also pay for the name
smaller local bodyshops can match the quality for cheaper prices

got to make sure that ur 100% happy with the bodyshop u take it to as u could run into all sorts of problems if u go to a crap/dodgy bodyshop

been quoted 1400 from koni for a flip job and have my kit fitted and 1200 for black with metalflakes.long way to scotland though
