I bin lookin at how the mantzel poerbox works, and me not being v good with me socket set or torx keys am a bit thick, but it looks like it basically alters the intake and uses a v similar design on older 8v multipoint injected engines-even to where the throttle cable and throttle body is- I was then wondering,would it be hard to make one?-appart from all the machinery u would need- I was wondering if there was a way of adapting an SRi or nova GTE setup,and maybe having it alloy welded and rebored,to fit the inlet manifold on the XE lumps-and maybe an adaptor plate to fit the throttle body onto?- its just a theory,or you could maybe make ur own chamber and bolt the throttle body to it etc>? has anyone tried this?
