Thats an SRi? Dont have the SRi grille, wheels, or mirrors???

what reg is the car? I cant see his pics but maybe its an older SRi? at one point the exterior of SRis looked almost identical to SXis. only the newer Sri's came with those different parts.

By the way it is an SRi 1.4 16v. It's a Jan 2002 51 model. The only difference with the 1.4 Sri and the 1.2 Sxi is the Engine, suspension and Air Con. Only the 1.8 Sri had different wheels, mirrors and grill back then.

Noonster your car is brand new and spec levels are now different. Back then these were the only differences between my SRi and an SXi. I wish mine looked like todays brand new SRi 1.4.
I saw a 1.2 SXi today, brand new and it looked like a 1.8 SRi. Irmscher roof spoiler, 16" Vaux wheels and a twim oval irmscher exhaust. I must say it made mine look like a Comfort model.
I am going to get mine fully colour-coded on the 1st Sept and I have had the cross-hatch lower grill from todays Sri's fitted.
By the way your car looks great with the new wheels on.

Noonster - it must have been an added extra on your SXi, I have a 2003 brochure sitting here, air con is only standard on SRi (1.4 and 1.8) and Elegance and is available on SXi for £500.

Nice one Noonster. Thats a good bargaining deal to get £500 worth of Air-Con for nought. It is nice to drive the car in this weather with the windows shut and the Air-Con turned up. Lovely.

Yeah I haggled with the guys got the car for.... £7495 and he wanted me to pay extra for air con and then pay extra to get it on the road...... I said no chance mate I said I want Air Con, as Ive had it before and cant do without it, and then said whats the point of buying a car thats not ready to pic up and drive on the road,

I said you make it £7495 with Air Con and on the road, plus give me my loan at 8.9% instead of 10.9% and we have got a deal...... he said sorry mate cant do it....

anyways cutting a long story short, he rang back 4hrs later and said are you still interested in buying the corsa, I said maybe, he goes well you can have it for the price we discussed earlier....... so I said thank you, will be down 2mora
