i had one of these^^^ and fitted it properly....guess what happened!?!





it got nicked!

how can i keep it from getting nicked?? i thought they were anti theft!!

I saw a sticker on a wheel in demon tweeks saying anti theft valve caps!
There was no cap on the valve though!

Try some thread lock or a sealant.

Cover it in margarine. Difficult to grip, and no theif will bother with it once they realise they're gonna get their hands dirty.

or just buy a frontera stumpy aerial & normal plain black dust caps

Don't superglue the aerial in!You might break the electrical connection with the glue in the way and then it won't work very well.

I noticed tha same prob with the locking aerial - you can remove them by unscrewing it -you can glue up the thread which will stop 'em nickin it but any probs and you'll have to change the base unit. I've just had my 'ant-theft' VX griffin chrome dust caps nicked - I'm sticking to ordinary ones from now!

hmm on my radio i keep getting snags and drop out in the output..i dont thinki have noticed this b4..suddenly its happened..is it anything to do with aerial? cos i had a kenwood HU..but removed it..(it started when i got my kenwood) any1 help?
