the st220 will do roudabout 7.5 to 60 but this doesnt mean it wud be a close race with a corsa c 1.8 sri
the st220 is a heavier car therefore launghing it takes more torque than it does a corsa C, the corsa being lighter it will be much easier to launch, once the mondeo is up and running it will absolutely pull the corsa's pants down as it has nrly 100bhp over the corsa
bhp doesnt get you off the line, bhp gives you acceleration further on up the range, therefore the mondeo will have a much quicker 0-100 time than the corsa

well u shud also realise that with the mondeo being a big, heavy car its not going to have a shit hot 0-60 time
this is why i feel 0-100 figs are more important than 0-60's

well its not even that weird for a car that size with that bhp, i wud consider 7.5 secs to be good for a family saloon on 18's

im getting a clio 16v (as new as poss) while i save up for sumthin newer
this time next yr i'll be looking at either a saxo vts, 106 gti, or mk1 clio 172

clio should be coming as soon as the corsa goes, im putting it in auto trader next week when ive got it MOT'd
i have a thing for saxo's, quite a fwe of my m8s ave dun wicked things with theirs
of that lot id sooner have a 172 tho, but it all depends on how much ££ i can put aside next yr, i could easily get finance or get a loan but i dont like being in debt

Thats fair enough the 172's are nice would like to have one as a track car.
