id make sure i polished the roof to make sure water doesnt sit in the scratches or youll be having a nice case of rusty roof if your not careful

You are lucky they even told you. Most garages repair cars without even telling the customer. Loads of brand new cars come off transporters with scrathes and dents. I see it all the time. it takes the piss really. Allot of cars have been painted before they've even been registered.

^^ They had to tell me as they only discovered the damage on the day I was meant to be picking it up!
