The latest must have motor round my way is either an MR2 or CRX, I got hassled by a bloke in an MR2 and thought sod it and put me foot down we were neck and neck till about 115mph then he over took not rapid though, what can i do to make my car beat these, I aint racing no CRX if i am gonna get whooped.
I got a GSI with Magnex system, K & N and a mantzel power box its got the early C16XE engine. Its been lowered 40mm and is on 17's if that makes a difference
The MR2 looked standard which is worse
This is what i been thinking
1. NOS
2. 2 litre C20XE
3. 2 litre C20LET

dont really want to change my engine though

I dont make a habit of racing people but if it ever happens i wanna have half a chance, come on you all do it

Blyndsteine B+ head and cams, depending on how wild they are would give u an extra 20-25 bhp

with ur other mods i would defo get a uni chip to get it all mapped and working at its best

so with magnex, manzal power box with K&N, Blyndsteine B+ head, cams, unichip = 150bhp+ easy

tourqe im not sure, but NOS is grate for upping tourqe levels, thats why it so powerful

If it was the latest MR2 (2001) aka MRS, then that is correct. 60 comes up in just less than 8 secs.

The older MR2 (90-2001) had a 2.0ltr 16v with 168 BHp unless it was a JAP spec turbo which runs about 225. There was also a De-spoilered 119 Bhp version.

As for the original 80's version, Im not sure.
