i used to be big plans on here for ne1 who might rmbr, anyway had a 1.0 12v corsa but pick up my 1.6 sport 2mr n am wondering if to put my 17's on as i dont want to lose speed obviously with the 1.0 there was never anything to lose............ne1 running 17's on sport if so still quick or is there a noticable diff?

i agree a1.6 17's wud beat a 1.4 16s shud do anway unless as patrick said 1.6 cudnt drive

Get some light weight 16`s and use a 40 profile tyre. expensive but worth it.

i got a later gsi on 17's (106bhp)
acceleration is slower but as i never had the car on normal wheels i dont really notice much difference.
oversteers more tho
